About

We are a family of four, as our older two children have moved on with their lives, and we have recently moved to the Georgia mountains.  These are our tales as we adjust to our new life far from the marshes, the tide and warm weather we are so accustomed to enjoying.  Our new home presents different and unfamiliar adventures as we are nestled at the base of a mountain and surrounded by the Cherokee National Forest.  Our hope is to become more self sufficient as we cultivate a small farm with chickens, goats, rabbits and maybe even a hog and eat veggies grown in our garden.
